End of financial year, without the scramble.

Reconciled records, STP finalisation and accountant-ready files, so year-end becomes a formality rather than a fire drill.

A year-end that is already prepared.

Our EOFY and financial reporting service helps ensure your business is prepared for year-end with accurate records, reconciliations and accountant-ready financial data. We assist with year-end procedures and reporting, including STP finalisation, QLeave returns, WorkCover wages declaration calculations and other EOFY compliance requirements.

We work closely with your accountant to ensure your financials are accurate, complete and up to date. At Lady Abacus, we provide thorough and reliable support to help make the end-of-financial-year process smooth and stress free.

The businesses that find EOFY easy are the ones whose books were already right on 30 June. Most of what makes year-end painful is work that could have been done months earlier, so we do it as we go, and the year simply closes.

You might need this if

If any of these feel a little close to home, this is exactly the sort of thing we take off your plate.

July is always chaos

Every year-end turns into weeks of digging through records to answer your accountant's questions.

Your accountant asks for more

The file you hand over always comes back with a list of queries and adjustments to make.

You are unsure what is due

STP finalisation, QLeave, WorkCover. You are not certain which of them apply to you, or when.

What year-end support covers.

The reconciliations, lodgements and declarations that close a financial year properly.

  • Year-end reconciliations

Every account reconciled and balanced through to 30 June, with differences investigated and resolved.

  • STP finalisation

Payroll finalised with the ATO so your team's income statements are marked tax ready and correct.

  • QLeave returns

Portable long service leave returns calculated and lodged for eligible industries.

  • WorkCover wages declaration

Actual and estimated wage figures calculated for your annual declaration.

  • Accountant-ready file

A clean set of records and reports handed across in the form your accountant actually wants it.

  • Financial reporting

Profit and loss, balance sheet and prior-year comparatives, explained so the year makes sense.

Frequently asked questions.

The questions we hear most about eofy & financial reporting. If yours isn't here, just ask.

Do you replace my accountant?

No, we work alongside them. We make sure the bookkeeping and compliance side is accurate and complete, so your accountant can focus on tax and advice instead of fixing records.

When should EOFY work start?

Ideally before 30 June. A review in May or June catches things that are far easier to fix before the year closes than after it.

What is STP finalisation?

It is the declaration that tells the ATO your payroll figures for the year are final. Until it is done, your employees' income statements stay marked as not tax ready, which holds up their tax returns.

Do QLeave and WorkCover apply to me?

That depends on your industry and where your staff work. We will confirm what applies while scoping and handle whichever ones do. Our compliance services cover the rest of the year's obligations.
